Three simple notes to write before ending the day

Capture what was finished, what can wait, and what should be easier tomorrow.

Notebook and coffee

What got finished

Write down one to three things you completed. This creates a sense of closure and helps you avoid feeling like nothing moved forward.

What can wait

Move unfinished tasks to tomorrow, later this week, or a someday list. This keeps your brain from holding too many open loops.

What should be easier tomorrow

Pick one thing you can prepare in advance. It could be a document, a clean desk, a simple breakfast, or a first task already chosen.

Keep it short

Evening notes should not become another job. Two or three minutes is enough to close the day with more clarity.
